secretly the gayest of the babies minkpaw 11 MOONS · TOM · SWAMP · APPRENTICE ∙ HETERO ∙ IMAGE- Pelt: long-haired and fluffy, dark brown tabby
- Eyes: bright golden
- Build: minkpaw seems somewhat undeveloped, like any young apprentice - although he's well over the age of a young apprentice, he's sort of stumbling on his short legs and his metabolism seems as if it just can't keep up with him. he's pudgy and just plain adorable.
- Other: all of my cats are gay babies sobbing
- Brief Description: fluffy dark brown tabby tom with bright golden eyes.
appearance - General: because he finds it downright stupid and cowardly, minkpaw isn't technically an outright rude sort of cat. he's actually pretty friendly and loves friendship, but his defensive and prideful manor stands in the way. he can't help it - he's not really egoistical, so to speak, but he does get proud of what he's done in life and will get overly defensive if someone tries to beat him down. he puts up a tough front when faced against others, standing up for himself in what he believes and those he's close to, but when he's alone he gets upset and flustered easily. it's within these periods of time that he stays alone, going out of his way to be away from everyone and anyone, and it's best to just leave him alone. within time, he'll shape up and will be back to his old self.

personality - History: jaegerface was the gorgeous one born to his litter, his mother's pride and joy and the heir to his father's beauty. fawn-nose was something of an ugly duckling - she wasn't the prettiest girl around when she was young, but as she aged gracefully she became something of a beauty. jaegerface never was shallow, although he'd gotten his suffix because of his good looks - even though fawn-nose was attractive, they fell in love because of personality. simply, their love was late nights under the stars, laughs shared quietly in the den when they should have been sleeping, tails twined while they took walks in the forest.
- they were together for a long while before they decided to conceive and give new warriors to the clan. the talk was over a sparrow that had wandered in from somewhere, a lucky catch by fawn-nose's standards; jagerface was the one to initiate the talk, a sly little dig that he would have liked to have some kits and they should start talking over it. it took a few more days before fawn-nose agreed, and it was under the light of the full moon that her first litter would be.
- over time, fawn-nose's stomach grew rounder. she was happy as a singing bird, an ideal mother carrying on her duties as a warrior until she grew too big and resigned to the life of a queen. she had to admit, being doted on by the usually so reserved jaegerface felt pretty nice in the ten weeks she was expecting, even though after time the kicks to her belly did get a little tiring.
- the first weeks of his life were fairly uneventful, you know, as is any kit's life before their eyes open. mink-kit's litter was smaller than average, being the first of two kits, the other being his young brother otterkit. they slept most of the time, and the other half of their days that didn't spend sleeping, they were eating curled up next to each other. the first days after their eyes opened were focused on them becoming active young kits, getting their limbs under control so they could walk straight, and beginning to converse and play with other kits in the nursery.
- there were two other queens aside from fawn-nose, but mink-kit never did pay attention to them. his nursery days were spent with a little she-kit he'd stumbled into on accident. her name was mousekit and it was friendship in an instant the first time he saw those bright, inquisitive eyes. mink-kit just adored his brother and mousekit; she was his best friend from the start. little did he know she'd be one of the most important parts in his life once he hit apprenticeship.
- they were born close, in the warmth of new-leaf. mousekit had grown up in the shadow of shrewkit and was much more reserved; as they aged, mink-kit saw the special reserve she had slowly melt away. birds of a feather, their personalities were close, and their ceremonies were paired together. shrewkit, mousekit, mink-kit and otterkit became apprentices with their new respective names - minkpaw doesn't ever think he'll forget the sound of their names being chanted across the clearing.
- he lost time for hanging out with friends once his training took place; he was just average, really, and he didn't get a lot of praise. this fueled his insecurities and he begun to see new visions in himself, even though he was doing fine. the only place he felt truly okay with himself was with mousepaw, but he never really got time to see her. he developed strange fears, the most prominent once being that he was just scared that the dark would come and whisk him away. he was frightened, and at night he begun crawling into mousepaw's nest to make the fears go away.
- it worked, sleeping next to his best friend, and once he got more sleep at night his training blossomed and he progressed fine. he grew prouder of what he accomplished, making the insecurities dissolve, but never did he go back to sleeping alone. he grew more and more prideful instead and defensive - especially after that cat tore her the tip of mousepaw's ear in half. he promised himself he'd protect her after that, so it planted itself in him, burying the defensiveness and the pride in his soul until he forgot it wasn't ever a part of him.
