England is the location of which we shall begin, with a lakeside setting. Off to the side, mostly in hiding, are small, furry creatures that live off of the prey the forest and lake provide, take pride in ordered chaos, and assist another in times of peril. These animals make up the four Clans of the forest- Thunder, River, Wind, and Shadow. However, there’s a bit of an issue with these groups when four of them go missing, become kidnapped by a few travelling Twolegs. The names of these cats were Troutstream from Riverclan, Blackpaw from Shadowclan, Willowfoot from Windclan, and Appleclaw from Thunderclan.

However, these Twolegs were not of this setting, so we shall transfer to the new one; Florida, United States of America, the home of pythons and alligators. These four Clan cats were practically trapped inside the homes of their captors, and forced to dull themselves down into a house setting. This would not last, as the warrior cats would find their escape- and, well, they did after a moon of captivity. The Twolegs made their mistake of leaving the door open for too long, and they broke out, running for their lives into the wilderness beyond them.

From that point, Troutstream and Willowfoot looked to each other and stated their apologies to the other two. They were going to leave the small group of four and search for other cats, hopefully to build up clans of their own. Appleclaw and Blackpaw were astonished, and with agitation in their thoughts, the two stalked off toward the pine forest, and the nearby Glades.

Around six moons did it take for the foundations of the Clans to begin, with Appleclaw and Blackpaw teaming up to create the base clan of Pineclan, residing in an abandoned badger set near the Glades. As far as the other duo, they nosed into kittypets’ lives mostly, and managed to get some of them to join them in their own area for the clan on the beach- Beachclan.

The first leaders of these clans, they were not the original four cats. The former England clan cats had no clue about the area, and were prone to becoming lost with the heightened chances of being eaten by an alligator or python. Therefore, leaders came up from those that were gathered; for Pineclan, it was a loner named Shrike, and for Beachclan, a former kittypet named Tiny. The first deputies were loners, one with a new name of Vireoclaw and another with the revised name of Salmonstream. There was a lack of medicine knowledge at this time, though the two in charge of treating the clans were two former kittypets under the names of Mouseflower and Pigfoot.

Difficulties showed their ugly faces soon enough, and that first summer was almost like a hole where the Dark Forest sunbathed. Tens of cats caught a sickness, and unknown for treatment, they died a suffering death. One of the deaths was of Blackpaw- Blacktail then- leaving Appleclaw in sole custody of bringing the warrior code upon the new clan. Conflict began to occur within the clans themselves, but not with each other. Pineclan was facing python attacks quite often, with alligators and crocodiles added, and facing a possible split between the hardened loners and softer ones. After five moons of rumors, it occurred, and Swampclan was created in the territory nearby Beachclan and the Glades, and they took the most dangerous of areas to reside, with quicksand patches and fragile mangrove roots that could break under their weight at any given moment.

Beachclan, meanwhile, was facing a more inner-clan issue, and it was their relationship with Twolegs. A decent portion of the clan, including the former Windclan warrior Willowfoot, were relying mostly upon the furless hind-leg walking beings for.. basically everything. Cats were constantly being taken by those on the Twoleg Beach, and never to be seen again- including the former leader Tinystar. It was basically something along the lines of Cougarclaw by day, and Mister Fluffy by the nighttime hours. You could call them daylight warriors, if you wanted to. Well, suffice to say, the deputy of Jaegerclaw had enough of it, and rallied followers to head to the cliffs, and away from the Twolegs and the warriors that weren’t true. He became the leader of Cliffclan, Jaegerstar, and his deputy became the famous Manateefang.

Life went on, and while Swampclan and Cliffclan were adjusting to their new homes, Pineclan and Beachclan were facing a large population drop of their best warriors. This lead to those in the pine forest with a drive to set themselves forward and become better, while Beachclan was the one that went through two more leaders before action was taken. And, by action, we mean a terrifying storm that ripped through the Twoleg homes and petrified the cats of the beach. After the sign from Starclan, the hurricane, Beachclan chose the life of being a full warrior in the light of the ancestors. They still have yet to fully pull away from twolegs, though.

Here we stand, three generations down the line from Willowfoot, Blacktail, Troutstream, and Appleclaw, and we are staring into the abyss.
