Spurgepaw 9 Moons · Male · BeachClan · Apprentice ∙ Bi-curious ∙ Full Image- Pelt: Spurge's pelt is extremely spazzy; it's rather fluffy, although thinned, and is longer in some places (like his neck, ears, and tail) than others. He does not keep it groomed well, and though it suits him, often has a raggedy, unkempt appearance. As for coloration, Spurge had a base coat of light tan hues, almost white with a muddy tint. Overlying this is a handsome dark coffee saturation in the pattern of tabby stripes, setting a shadow over his body and defining his features. Lastly, in the areas where his fur elongates and spikes out, his pelt is dulled in its original chocolate hues, faded to a light dusty brown.
- Eyes: Spruge's irises are a handsome dark amber, like honey mixed with chocolate. Dark yellow and brown hues swirl within the amber, giving his eyes a playful, but understanding and haunted look.
- Build: Let us start by saying that Spurgepaw isn't all too big or intimidating. Sure, he's got a nice layer of muscle, but he's rather lean and lanky. More so, his paws are large, but ideal only for climbing trees. Height is his the only tell-tale sign of his age, and he is overall just one of thise skinnybtall guys. His eyes slant upwards, and his ears are large and disproportionate. Spurge is very awkwardly built at best, though he has enough meat to him to be moderately good at whatever he decides to do. He sure as heck won't be winning any medals, but he won't come in dead last either.
- Other: He has some mental disorders, but nothing too physical except for a slight burn on his tail where he ventured too close to fire when he was younger.
- Brief Description: Fluffy brown tabby tom with dark amber eyes.
appearance - General:
Humble;
Spurge may be friendly, sure, but that doesn't mean he's extremely social all the time. In fact, this little guy probably wouldn't say much more than 'hi' if it were up to him. He finds himself socially awkward, and though he can strike up and hold a conversation with ease, has a very shy and kit-like way of carrying himself. He doesn't take much pleasure in loud, rambunctious get-togethers, and would prefer one-on-one time with a close friend to anything else. Spurge hates getting in trouble, and being praised; anything that puts him in the center of attention makes him feel uncomfortable and frankly far too noticed.
Friendly;
Spurgepaw is the kind of guy who would never hurt a fly, intentionally. He likes to say 'good morning', and 'sweet dreams', and everything else that probably sounds a little gay coming from a tom, but is also really kind-hearted. Spurge is that socially awkward, optimistic brightener of your day, and he makes it a point to get at least one person to smile for each time he has the opportunity. He's overall a chivalrous gentleman, who is kind of quiet and shy.
Curious;
Spurgepaw doesn't have the highest IQ, and he has no exceptional talent in the field of intelligence. This does not mean, however, that he is stupid or dumb or anything like such. In fact, Sprurge is highly curious, and he loves to figure things out. He wants to find out everything he can about someone else when he meets them; who they are, what they like, what they hate, things they hide... More so than anything else. He wants to figure out himself. When he has a hard time solving a problem, he doesn't just forget it. He asks around, and he meddles deeper and further until he is satisfied.
Foolhardy;
No one can deny that this young tom is very rash, and does not think of the consequences before he acts. He does what he wants, when he wants to, simply because he wants to. On this note, he also happens to have a lot of adventures that he probably shouldn't have, and has an unintentional nose for trouble.
Impulsive;
Every since he was a very small child, Spurge developed odd mental disorders that caused him to have extremely odd impulses; not a great trait when you consider his rash and "Load-Fire-Aim" personality. For one thing, Spurgepaw is a compulsive liar. He can't help but constantly rattle off exaggerated truths or entire falsehoods; he doesn't even think about what he's saying, he just says it. For another, he likes to steal things. Ya, he's a kleptomaniac. If he sees something he likes, he'll reach out and take it. Of course, his guilt will oh so nearly consume him, and because he would be terrified of getting in trouble, he would continue to lie and say he didn't have whatever he took. Thirdly, he is oddly obsessed with fire. Now, he's a cat, so he can't really start fires, but he does get a great pleasure out of watching them from a distance when the Twolegs are around, and up close when they aren't. Spurge also has a hard time staying in one place, and will often travel across borders to sleep elsewhere besides camp for days at a time. He gets to thinking, and will wander for an entire night before he realizes he's lost, and then he'll just keep on walking anyway. Finally, the thing Spurge hates most about himself. He has these oddly timed intervals of strong emotion where he strongly desires to hurt not only himself, but others. When this happens, he has enough sense to get away from everybody as quick as he can, or find someone he trusts to help him calm down. His favorite hiding spot during these times is up a tree, where he will buckle down and cling to the branch for dear life, despite his mind screaming to try and jump off. Because of this disorder, Spurgepaw doesn't like getting too too close to anyone in particular, and admittedly frightens himself. - Things Spurge Enjoys

personality - History:
-21 moons; 21 moons before Spurgepaw ever graced the Earth with his presence, two extremely different BeachClan kitties met and fell in love. There was Bass-stripe, a heavy, fat, cowardly brown tabby tom, and Grackleface, a pretty,mind, slender femme. Grackleface would make runs out to the Twoleg beach and steal food for Bass-stripe, who would in turn eat it. This lead to a love between the two, and soon kits were born. These kits were named; Peeperkit, the only girl/brown tabby, Kestrelkit, the first boy/brown tabby, Mudkit, the second boy/brown tabby, and finally Snailkit, the fourth boy/ALSO brown tabby. These are the older siblings of Spurgepaw.
-1 moon; When Peeperpelt, Kestrelfoot, Mudclaw, and Snailstream were 20 moons old, disaster struck. Grackleface was abducted by Twolegs on one of her notorious food runs. She was soon replaced in Bass-stripe's life by a pretty molly named Falconcloud. This would be Spurgepaw's mother in due time.
0-3 moons; Joyous day, joyous day. Two kits were born to Bass-stripe and Falconcloud. A brown tabby tom, named Spurgekit, and a beautiful slender calico molly by the name of Oriolekit. These two were close, being littermates, but also found themselves in adoration of their older half-siblings. Oriolekit in particular took a liking to Peeperpelt, who Spurgekit was always very close with.
4-5 moons; Strange behaviors became noticed by Spurgekit, as he often made up stories and stole things from others. He even lashed out once or twice at Oriolekit, after which he would run away and hide. His actions were deemed unusual, and it was found that he had more than a few mental complexities. He became more withdrawn, though with a hint of friendly and optimistic nature still complimenting his awkward social shyness.
6-9 moons; This time marks the beginning of Spurgepaw and Oriolepaw. The two remained close, though not as close as they could be. If Sourge had a problem, it was Peeperpelt he would run to. His complexities and absent-minded behaviors became increasingly noticeable, and he felt less inclined to talk or work hard. As a life lesson from his overly obese father, Spurge typically stays away from Twoleg food. Because of this, he is an impeccable hunter and, surprisingly, climber. Climbing trees became his favorite activity, and he is notorious for spending entire days within the high up branches of an oak. Around his second moon of apprenticeship, Spurgepaw began to realize that he found not only girls attractive, but boys as well. He plans on telling Peeperpelt soon, though isn't sure if he should.
