- Brief Description: Black tabby long-hair tom with white on his face and paws, and blue eyes. Recognized by the kink in his thick tail.
appearance - General: Nightcry has a fair bit of difficulty getting along with others because he is blunt, stubborn, and proud. He means well most of the time, and being honest is a good thing. However, his lack of understanding tact is what gets him in trouble. Furthermore, his pride won't allow him to accept when he's wrong, and his stubborn streak causes the situation to get worse because he refuses to apologize, even when he does recognize he's in the wrong.
However, he never does anything without being absolutely sure that it's the right thing to do, and thus he is very decisive and deliberate with his actions.He is young, though, so it's expected that he might be a bit hot-headed. Indeed, he's usually the first to demand revenge if another clan were to wrong his own. As an enemy, he is vindictive and his rage can be unreasonable. He knows this, which is why he tends to restrain his temper. As a friend, he is wise and loyal to a fault, which makes him a good candidate for a mentor. While he is walking a razor edge between insanity and wisdom, he knows both the unrelenting fury of a warrior, as well as the cold calculations of the hunter. - Because he is slightly heavier in weight than the average cat [fur is heavy,] when he sprains a paw, he will subconsciously limp for longer than average, even if there is no need.

- Nightfang is afraid of abandonment. It's said that his father was a ship cat who lived at the port. He abandoned his mate and their kits when the ship he lived on left the port. No one's seen the tom since. His mother, too distraught by his disappearance to care for his kits, left them in the care of the nearby clan and then returned to the twolegs.
- His father was a rat-catcher for the ship he lived on, and this talent seems to have passed on to Nightfang.
